Tribute to Dilshat Khaitov
It is with immense grief we mourn the loss of our Community Delegation member Dilshat Khaitov who was a strong leader and dear friend to us all in the fight to End TB. He gave strength to the affected community on the ground in Kyrgyzstan, in the region and beyond. He was also board member of TBpeople global network as well as founder and head of TBpeople Kyrgyzstan.
We will feel his immense loss, and we will forever be grateful to him for helping us make so many leaps and bounds in the fight to end TB. We will never forget his commitment and contribution.
RIP Dilshat… Yes, we will End TB, brother. Thank you for all that you have done in fighting TB with us.

Joint Statement of Community, Developing Country and Developed Country NGO Delegations
The Community, Developing Country NGO and Developed Country NGO Delegations are thrilled to launch The Accountability Report of TB-affected Communities & Civil Society: Priorities to Close the Deadly Divide. It is heartening to note that over 1000 representatives of TB- affected communities and civil society organizations from 92 countries engaged in the development of the accountability report, which not only brings TB realities on the ground to the forefront, but also highlights the powerful solutions and coping strategies. The report is guided by principles of human rights and social justice and emphasizes the importance of raising political will, scaling up domestic and external financing, and community empowerment.
Joint Statement on Ukraine by Communities, Developed Country NGO and Developing Country NGO delegations to the Global Fund Board
The Community Delegation to the Stop TB Partnership Board stand in solidarity with the TB affected communities and TB survivors in Ukraine. War does not determine who is right or wrong but rather It only exacerbate the pain and suffering of people who deserve better treatment, access to healthcare and right to life.
The world must not stand and look for the gains in TB in Ukraine to be reversed but must act now to prevent more TB deaths, if not, then all our effort for a world free of TB become ruined. To our friends and TB community in Ukraine, we stand with you. We support the statement from the three Civil Society Delegations to the Global Fund Board.
